Returns and Refunds

When you order from Pure Yorkshire Honey you are ordering from a small business.  We care a lot about what we do and we want you to be happy with your product. 


If for any reason this isn’t the case, we want to help you with this.  If you would like to return your purchase this is fine but must be done within 28 days of receiving your order.  We are happy to provide you with a full refund or credit note, less any delivery paid.

To start with, please send an email to with your full name and order number.  All items must be returned in their original condition and original packaging.  Pure Yorkshire Honey cannot accept any responsibility for any items which are lost or damaged in transit.

All returns must be sent at your own expense and we are unable to refund the original delivery cost (unless of course the item is faulty).  Refunds may take up to 14 working days to arrive back into your account.

How to return an item

We are very careful about choosing who we ask to deliver your order.  In the unlikely and unfortunate event that you receive a product damaged in transit please let us know within 48 hours of delivery.  If a product is believed to be faulty then please notify us within 7 days of receipt.

We would ask that you send an image to us showing the product in its original packaging.


Orders are normally dispatched within two working days. You will receive an email when when we have dispatched your order, so you know when to expect it.  Orders are dispatched by Royal Mail 2nd Class mail.

UK orders - standard delivery £3.25

All parcels will come well packaged to avoid damage. Our packaging is eco-friendly and fully recyclable.  We only ship within the UK at the moment.​


We will post our queens using the Royal Mail Special Delivery 24hr option only.  Please arrange a day for delivery that you know you can accept the queen on the first delivery attempt, alternatively you can collect your new queen from the apiary.  

In the unfortunate event that a queen is dead on arrival please report this to us by sending a clear video of the queen in her orginal cage with a copy of your order number.  Please report this to us within 3hrs of the first delivery attempt.  We may ask for the queen to be sent back to us in orginal condition.  We will send you another queen once we have recieved the above information.  We can not accept DOA if the queen is removed from her cage or you were unable to take delivery in time.

DOA returns and replacements  are reveiwed on a case by case basis.
