£6.00Price

During spring, bees have access to an array of blossoming flowers such as fruit tree blossoms (apple, cherry, pear), dandelions, clover, blueberries, wildflowers, and more. The bees collect nectar from these flowers and transform it into spring blossom honey.  The taste, aroma, and colour of spring blossom honey can vary depending on the specific flowers the bees gather nectar from.

Spring blossom honey typically exhibits a light to medium amber colour, although it can vary. It has a delicate and often floral flavour profile, reflecting the characteristics of the flowers in bloom during that season. The taste can range from mild and subtly sweet to slightly tangy or fruity, depending on the floral sources.

Similar to other types of honey, spring blossom honey can be enjoyed in various ways. It can be used as a natural sweetener in tea, coffee, or baked goods, drizzled over pancakes, waffles, or yogurt, or added to sauces and dressings for a touch of sweetness and complexity.

This honey is removed from the beehive and simply filtered before jarring to retain it’s natural flavour, enzymes, and antioxidants that can contribute to your overall well-being.

Important information:  Not suitable for children under 12 months old.  Pure honey may naturally crystalise in cooler temperatures.
